2026 Summer Library Sessions

This summer, St Kilda Library will come alive with live music events from some of Australia’s most captivating artists.

Sing a Song of Sixpence featuring Delsinki, Brooke Taylor, and Joyce Prescher

Wednesday 10 December 6 pm to 7 pm St Kilda Library

Experience an evening of live music “in the round” — a special format where three singer-songwriters sit together, take turns sharing their songs, and tell the stories behind them.

It’s part concert, part conversation, and a wonderful way to get up close with the creative process.

Hugo Race with Michelangelo Russo

Thursday 29 January 6 pm to 7 pm St Kilda Library

Hugo Race/Michelangelo Russo is a dynamic duo that delivers a unique blend of experimental blues and electronica.

Hugo Race, an Australian-born musician and producer, brings his haunting vocals and intricate guitar work to the table, while Michelangelo Russo, an Italian multi-instrumentalist, adds layers of psychedelic sounds with his electric harp and percussion skills.

Together, Race and Russo create a mesmerizing fusion of traditional blues elements with contemporary electronic beats, taking listeners on a sonic journey through different eras and genres. Their performances are known for their improvisational nature, making each show a one-of-a-kind experience. Hugo Race/Michelangelo Russo truly push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the realm of music.
